Pousada Casarão is the oldest and most traditional in São João Del Rei. Our facilities begin in a cozy and welcoming building of almost 200 years , which was built to house the first priests who taught at Colégio Santo Antonio.
Our location is more than privileged, right in the Historic Center, next to the magnificent Church of São Francisco de Assis , a project by Aleijadinho. Attached to the Casarão, there are the new facilities, which follow the same architectural project, with a breathtaking view of the old houses and their churches.
In this intimate and family atmosphere, we also have a swimming pool, leisure area and delicate landscaping project, ensuring all our guests a pleasant and relaxing stay, in line with the hospitality of Minas Gerais.
